We had a radio jingle here in Illinois from our Dept of Tourism, it went like this:
"Just outside Chicago, there's a place called Illinois"
Just more evidence that Chicago is not really part of Illinois.

Oh and by the way, since reading these threads is taxing, you could always choose NOT to read them, I mean unless a small gnome is forcing you... in which case I completely understand! Just thought I'd give that piece of advice to give you a break from being so taxed by these conversations.

Then why read it? Guess I am confused how some people constantly get stuck reading things they don't have to... but do... and then whine.. lol Go over to USN and hold hands in the strider forum, Problem solved :D

I don't actually read it just skim over it to see what you all idiots that continue to argue are talking about today. No need to get arrogant with me because I stated a comment that technically had nothing to do with you. You just feel the need to attack anyone that comments in here because you have it out for strider fanboys or something? Just curious

I've seen your passive aggressive posts regarding strider criticism. You didn't just wonder in here without a clue. I stand by my post.
 
Oh man... I checked this thread to see where it was from the last time I read through it. It's going down hill quick! Standard78 Standard78 and shinyedges shinyedges good on y'all for staying in there and telling it like it is, and for keeping the "pro strider" "I don't mind supporting stolen valor" attitudes at bay when these strider threads come up. Somebody has to lay down some sense on these threads...

Strider and Microtech did some collaborations. This is my collaboration with a Microtech knife. No matter how dumb many may think this was, I'm not keeping a knife that brings me shame and I'm not passing it along. The above only expresses my personal opinion.

I have said in the past I didn't care for what he's done or necessarily care for the company but do like the knives.. I don't buy the knives to flaunt the company or owners but to use them. As of last this whole 25 and out is quite stupid but if you're referring to my last post on page 3 on why there is a need to argue, I think you might've got the wrong impression.

I just forgot that anytime they're mentioned that it turns into a Whine and Cheese thread, instead of informing the OP of his question and moving on.

How did you come about this knife? Did you buy it, receive it in a trade? Just not know about their past before you got it?

I bought it cause a few people said they were nice, looked nice, and was made of elmax, double action auto otf was fun, but soon thereafter I started hearing about the history of them and strider knives and decided I didn't like it at all. Earlier tonight I decided enough was enough and got rid of it.

If you think this is a whine and cheese thread you are mistaken. I do find it ironic 99% the people who complain about how strider threads go, own striders. As posted before if you don't like reading how strider threads go, easy solution, don't read them.
