1st Strider is closing and last knives will all be sold at blade show. Then Duane is just leaving and they will produce more knives than ever with no change at all? What is really going on? I am a bit pissed because I feel they are lying to their base just to sell knives.

There are lots of good knife companies out there.

The prick of the knife market seems to be mostly populate the tactifool market segment. You have to expect people to get defensive when their entire marketing strategy is based on pure B.S.

I think companies like QuarterMaster are at the extreme end of the B.S. scale.

Is there a good company in the knife industry that aren't just full of themselves and tatted up pricks who lie about whos idea it was, credentials and where their stuff is made?
Victorinox, Buck, Case, and mora.
Victorinox may say that they made the Swiss army knife before wenger who they now own, but in general these companies just make what they make and everyone is familiar with their products.

I'm also curious about the source of this news. Not surprised at all though, I kinda figured this or something like would happen.
