strider

Just being curious here , does Mick&Duane actually attend knife shows ,
or is it a "Strider Knives booth" with some employee ??

Duane was at the Plaza Custom show. He personally hand ground the SNG with the black blade in my pics on the other page.
 
For the newbies: Wolfmann & I are just kidding around. No one actually beats up other people at knife shows, or even tells them off. Some people make a habit of issuing internet threats and challenges and promises to prove who is the naughtiest naughtybutt, but when they actually meet they don't even speak to each other; they just go about their business. The knifemakers are too busy doing business for fun and games, and the knifeknuts are too busy looking at knives.

There would be little point in telling any of these people off again, as far as I can see. They've been told off before, plenty of times. I doubt one more person calling them scumbags would make a lot of difference to their behavior.

Thanks Cougar, I knew you knew this is all said in friendship (and 99.99% in jest!!)

I consider you a good friend I have never met.........................

But I still think posting old news over and over does not make a "man of principle"

Do you really think I care what you or anybody else cares about my position on this wolfy?? I know who I am and what Im about and what I stand for. I dont need to prove anything (( inappropriate language and attitude )) because I talked bad about some knife/knife maker he likes, or brought up something that was old news.

Not everybody has been a knife enthusiast for as long as you, or has such a high post count on bladeforums. As more people come into the fold
they learn things, deal with it.

If it bothers you that much Id suggest you stop posting on this thread and go back and play with your strider knives some more.

Sharpo Lupo, what branch of the military did you serve in? Did you meet Mick?

I have had drinks and conversation with Mick , Dwayne and Josh many times. My views differ , but that's cool , that is what makes life interesting.

But you like Cold Steal , so I guess I can't take you too seriously. :D

I served in the Navy discharged in 01, then took a security position overseas (Europe, not contractor) where I lived until 06 then transferred to Minnesota.

Ive never met Mick, but if I did I would shake his hand and ask to speak to him privately as to not embarrass him in front of people. I would then proceed
to tell him the reasons I would not buy his knives, reasons being because he is a liar and a fake and using those stories to help his business, but in a nice and respectful manner.

Hey I do like some things from cold steel but not all. They are not my fav brand but I love CS bowies. Lots of people like them.

ETA: On a related note, I noticed you stopped responding in W&C once you got called out for lying. Odd you keep harping about Mick being a liar...
