Sub-hilt Fighter Progression

Kyle, I'll have to see it in person, my hillbilly internet wont let me do videos. Bet it's a beauty!

You guys with high speed internet don't know what you're missin ;)

First, thank you for the informative videos and the snapshot into your life as a knifemaker. This has been a great thread.

Second...107 hours?!?!?! Let that serve as an illustration to everyone who ever thought that custom knives were "overpriced" that they have no idea what really goes into making such a great piece.

I second this post, great video's and beautiful workmanship on this and all your work, good luck on all your goals, what ever they are. Bill

That sure turned out great Kyle!! Great job.

And a great job with the Vids Caleb:thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I will start a new thread after Mr. Cooper photographs it at BLADE.

Nice tackling your first sub-hilt on video for us all to enjoy. Really a great WIP Kyle. The fighter/bowie turned out super!

Best of luck in Atlanta.

- Joe

I wasn't a sub-hilt fan until now.

Great piece Kyle, and thanks for bringing us the experience.

By the way, as fast as you use those files, believe you may be able to text message as fast as my youngest daughter. ;) :D

See you tomorrow.

I am looking forward to seeing some top quality photos of this knife. It is absolutely stunning.

Kyle, do you think you are going to be able to get a good wage for the 107 hours you put into this knife when you sell it?

Kevin, I bet I can text that fast :) My ex girlfriend taught me how to argue over texts. And lots of practice makes perfect. Now I can do it while driving.

Wow, sorry to go off topic- but this knife is so nice and another bump cannot hurt.

Yes, I made about $16.00 an hour. This knife had a couple first time things. I bet I could make it faster (15 to 20 hours) next time because I had done it before.

Thanks for the complements everyone! See you at BLADE. :D

Hi everyone.

Here is the finished picture of the knife. I think Coop did a great job capturing this knife. Thank you Mr. Cooper.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for looking!

Kyle
