Summer snark !

Damn it smells good in here. I am drying beans in the dehydrator for snacks to replace stuff with carbs, sugar etc. I have the dehydrator on a wire shelf in the bedroom so I don’t clutter up the kitchen counters sea salt and ancho chili powder for seasoning . I have been a week and a half without Pepsi and have only eaten bread once . Trying to get my blood sugar under control. I Have dried black beans before and they are a good snack right now I have white navy beans and black beans dried and have chickpeas, red beans and green beans in the dehydrator . Once I have everything dried I will pick the best 2-3 for snacks

There are so many WONDERFUL things to eat that aren't sugar-forward, and your flexible brain will re-train! 💪

They're higher-calorie than bean-stuffs, but I'm a big fan of nuts. Protein and fat keep you less-hungry and are low-carb slow food.

Had a few minutes after work and before sunset tonight, so I did some cleanup grinding and reverse deep fried a chunk of steel before it got dark out
Now it's baking at 400 for an hour.

Getting closer to being summer snark again 75 today. But most places locally have had 3-6 inches of rain this week I’m. I managed to get to the club to shoot my mini rifles I put a compact scope on my little Savage Rascal and had to try out a Crickett 22 mag I just got. Both shoot good for what they are. Although I didn’t feel great but I can’t stand to have a rifle not sighted in .

Hoping to get out to function test a mod I did last week, but the mud has to chill out a bit first....
Our 2ft of snow is melting, and it's quite a scene.

Well with the storms my Power Stations worked well. Just 1000 watt class, but I got more than I needed I think. Smaller are easier to haul around. They ran the LED bulb lamps, 25 watt small TV and laptop. One kept the small fridge running with the meds, and one ran the Bi-Bap with no problem all night with power for another night. Had people knocking on my door and window demanding to know why I had working lights, I scared them off with my own personality. I gave two out to neighbors who had a need for them. I took them to recharge enmass at the "Evil Step Mother"'s place. (You call then "Evil" by tradition! And Traditions are important!) who has a big ass solar array...but no way to store it...so 3 got snatched for "Power Rent". During the day it was power galore. Night...well they have wood heat and a gas stove for cooking. But realized lights were nice...things were charged in the day time. Power came back before needing another power run. I got portable solar panels but I let the neighbors use them as I had a big day time power supply to charge things at.

Keep up the good work.
And nice your 16 is helping out.
I also enjoy foidptep with my Beckers every now and then, esp when cooking outside :)

I lost my bk11 and was pretty sad about it, but luckily found it again. My day was pretty much ruined before I found it.
So then I decided I needed a spare.
And then I found out that they've been disco'd??? Day ruined once more.

Also, hi, it's been a while.

i followed some dr pradip jamandas videos on fasting, and metabolic reset, and such. very interesting. i'm trained up now to eat a small meal once per day

the weird part is not being hungry at all until i need to eat, sometimes have gone 36 and 48 hours. must be careful to not get any sneaky sugars in there - like zero alcohol and ideal not even sugar free soda during a serious phase, water, tea, coffee...

the results are interesting overall, aside from losing 35 lbs, aiming for anothing 10-15 at least.

boredom is the real trap. emotional support food. lol.

apparently a whole lot of the smalls are disco'ed, even the ones made in usa. some other models are also gone. i checked the kabar site and i'm like, well, that's a LOT of Magnum Camp variants lol. no machax of course, that's what started the party for me. will have a lifetime supply now lol.

funny how people are going crazy for the stuff they can't get now, bk15 is like $450 on ebay? nuts...

oh hey, heard that Bark River closed doors, chapter 11? all that. gone.

many other company in the last few years as well, just ... shadows.
