Got my tractor back from the shop today - took them 2 weeks of working it in between bigger jobs, but the repair bill was under $1k.

That is a nice number. Whenever we have a tech work on our equipment it's a $1000 bucks a day, not including parts. And as you know it always takes more than one day.

I should have not listened to my guidance counselor and been a rock star.

Surprise storms hit us yesterday morning and rained most of the day.

At my last surgery follow up appointment, my nurse practitioner said that I could take short bike rides on level ground. Today I went to the church and did laps around the parking lot. For a mile and a half . I know it’s not much, but it felt good to be back on my bicycle after more than a year

When my wife ask about riding a bike . The nurse practitioner you could see was thinking. Then said it throws her for a second because I look like someone that would be riding a Harley not a bicycle

the neighbor has been mowing the lawn for us while I am down. But not weed eating . Today I got out the wheeled string trimmer and started slowly working on the back of the house and garage area I sprayed the rock wall with crossbow . Had to cut some of the heavier stuff with a machete. I ordered a Truper Colima style 27 inch machete. From what little I can find on the net Imasco probably makes them . I figure I shouldn’t have to bend as much. I have a piece of plywood that I c-clamp to the table on my belt sander to hold the angle I need for machetes

we had a second day of bright sun and clear skies, so it was only 93/105 here.
currently 86 with a real feel of 92.

weather front is supposed to roll over us in the middle of the night and start raining until sometime friday night - with flash flood watches from 4pm tomorrow to 1 pm friday

Went out for the mail as I came back in I was adjusting my belt, and my wife asked how much are you actually wearing? Ever added it up? $200 for glasses, $1000 for a phone $500 for gun and stuff $90 Tilley hat figuring including hat and cane $2200 depending on season and what I am doing I’m usually wearing some where between $1750 and $2500 just walking around I ain’t even getting into my EDC bag
