I think Luong/bluntcut can make you one and willing yo ship to Italy ;)
Not sure how much this will cost in EU http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1305088-ZT-0180-Hard-Use

Wow it's incredible. Just too small. I will read the topic to know steel and maker. (ZT knives and it's made by vanadis 4, just a fenomenal knife, shame about the dimensions :( )
So u advice me to commission Luong or Bluncut to make my knife?
Who is Luong? It 's always bluncut?

Anyway, WT told me that a very resistant steel it would be the 5160.
Very hard to find here in Italy, the price will increase.
What do you think?

Yeah I grabbed RWL as well, which similar to N690/VG10 (sans Co). I just ground a 63rc N690 paring, 63rc S30V, 65rc aebl and ... anyway, their 15 dps edge must pass/fail whittle beef rib bone. edit to add: all passed :D

Becut & SB1 are interesting around 63rc as well.

OP - I am Luong (see signature below)

Yes, I understood from that!
It 'a pleasure Luong, i'm Lorenzo :D

5160 known for high toughness however IMO - 80CrV2 is better (there is a European version of it under diff name). Not sure why WT mentioned 5610:confused: Other options (avail other there) Vanadis 23, S690 and few more are excellent for large outdoor knives.

Indeed.

Indeed.
I'll tell him, along with the other steels which you suggested.
What do you think of the Vanadis 4 Extra?

IMO - vanadis4e's steel composition is well optimized for strength+toughness especially at around ~61-63rc. It is so much better than D2 when using std ht. Insist van4e if WT willing...

Thanks!
I will propose.

P.S. Std ht mean "Standard Heat treatment"?

Another to look at is the Fiddleback Production Duke which is up for sale on the exchange.

I go to see.

I see it in internet and it's just a little bit smaller than the knife that i want.
But it's a beautiful knife, i really really like it.
It's a good steel the S35VN?

P.S I can't found it for sale in the exchange, can u help me?

Sorry did not see this until late. However there is now today 2/12 an ESEE 6 for sale in the exchange, go to production fixed fixed blades (individual)and you should see the post by cat math 1911. 1095 steel.
