Survival FOLDER??? :>

i think of tons of different things when i hear wilderness survival, but the knife that comes to mind is the sere 2000. I also wouldn't mind a 710 with M2 or a socom elite.
Just has to be a big and reliable knife that can hold an edge.
Then again if i had a balisong, i wouldn't get bored wondering around in the middle of nowere.

Big wenger ranger knife, kinda like a 4 " version of a SAK, with a saw (also 4"), scissors, pliers, ironsaw, chisel, canopener, 4" blade in clip-point style and the regular goodies on a SAK twice as big.

No other knife lasts in this competition, certainly not in versatility. Except the victorinox superchamp, who has a few things more like a compass, magnifying glass, ruler..

I believe very much in Large Sebenza, all the Emerson series blade, MT SOCOM and MOD Trident. These are superb knives. But if I would to be economical about it, CRKT Crawford/Kasper Folder (Large) would be one I choose. I carry one everyday, in the town and in the highlands, great knife.

Spyderco large Wegner plain edge. Great handling, sturdy, strong, nice belly on the blade, easy to sharpen ATS34 blade in the field....sorted!

WHAT DO I PICK? WHAT DO I PICK?
In this situation, your not supposed to have enough time to pick, or the sensible solution would be to pick one of your fixed blades!
But sticking with the scenario I'd have to pick one of these;
BM Stryker 50/50 (daily carry)
Lg. Sebenza (daily carry)
MOD Dieter CQD
Now according to the scenario, you can only pick one and since I always carry the BM Stryker and Sebenza, does that mean that I have to toss one to qualify?
Now that's an even harder choice!!!
Mike

Without a doubt the best survival folder (even better than the SAK Rucksack)...
The Victorinox Locksmith!
I would pick something like the Schrade LB7, but why limit yourself to only one blade?
