Just got them back from water jet and will be working them in between projects as I can, slight design change, I had to move the lashing hole at the guard due to a copyright issue. now there will be only one forward lashing hole but I don't think it spoils the design at all.

Looks like a tough, usefull design. I like the idea given of bright colored scales to prevent loss.
I might lash my knife to a pole to cut something I couldn't reach, but I'd never use it as a spear. Use the knife to construct a spear? Yes.
 
Hey Dave, No pic's at this point. I have 12 at Paul Bos heat treating at the moment. as soon as they come back I'll get going on them. Problem is I have this damn inconvenience of my day time job.

Great looking knife! I'd like to own one myself, depending on cost though. Either way, lets move the thread to the top again:thumbup:
