Does it happen yes but when it happens a good business works to rectify the problem not perpetuate it. In the knife industry specifically many shops will close their order books to prevent over commitments. In how ever many years of "business" I don't recall seeing this company do anything actually different in their business.

I've been surprised by a few things, chief among them Survive's ability to survive. I would have bet against it (and lost).

I'm not sure about the knife industry but I can see businesses doing that, sure. It's a tight rope they need to leverage against the need to keep the lights on, pay staff, buy food, and so on.

As an LLC they could have done like many companies do and just throw in the towel, largely protected against lawsuits. It's nice they held on and are getting knives out the door now (which even people here have admitted).

When I go to work, I do what I say I'm going to do.

Do you know why?
Chiefly because my word is my bond, but also because I'll get shown the door if I don't.
I don't have the luxury of telling my boss I'll get her the analysis she's looking for when I get around to it.

S!K is a joke, and though they're still in business, they shouldn't be.
They've bought their success with other people's time and money.
Show 'um the door- I promise you their knives are infinitely replaceable with some other options from people who aren't mucking things up and making excuses.

Anyone still buying their crap in full knowledge of their crappy activities (or lack there of!) is complicit.

I have a GSO 4.7 and it’s a fantastic knife in every way. I get the wait times and promises are lame but by now you should know what you’re signing up for when you order so just quit your bitching and go elsewhere if you’re gonna piss and moan over an order.

The irony that you're here whining and bitching because you don't like a thread existing about a company you love, is hilarious.

Also, no, the 4.7s aren't "fantastic in every way". I had two of them, and sold them both after I came to find out how much of a loser scumbag thief grifter Guy is. The knives are mediocre kit knives, created from parts made by other people. I suppose it's fitting, in a way. Guy's big claim to fame is something made by others.

They literally have nothing better to do. Go back and look... it's a lot of a same folks participating in this thread for FOUR YEARS! And I really do think they're the only one's that care. It's fascinating to watch.
