Only ever used medium teeth, but it worked well on many different species of wood, green and seasoned.
 
I wasn't sure if certain sizes of teeth were specialized for fresh or seasoned wood. Sounds like you can't go wrong.
 
Yep. Medium is a great choice. It works great on Pine, Cypress and it even works pretty well on Oak.
