It's an earlier one with the Flag on the side of the pommel.
Patriot Leather (Skystorm Leather) has no problem speaking on Bladeforums how he believes SURVIVE! is a poorly run company with a failing business model, so I feel fine not taking part in anything that gets him money.............. especially at those ridiculous prices.

Yes, how dare I have an opinion. I feel fine that I won't receive any of your money. It takes a very small minded person to think that everyone must have the same opinion as themselves. We have differing opinions about the SK business moodel. boo. freaking. hoo. You want to waste your time bashing me at every chance, have at it. Makes no difference to me. You like SK, good for you. I don't, more knives for everyone else.
I am sure Guy and Elle are quite capable at defending themselves if needed without your I need attention cheerleading from the sidelines.
I do not keep track of current resale values for each brand. Pricing was determined by a quick viewing of the recent completed listings and listing them accordingly. Supply and demand dictate what people will ultimately pay and all of them have a make offer attached which is useful to see what current market rate is. Since the 5.1, 6 and 7 sold in less than 10 hours of listing I guess I must not be too far off on the asking prices and the others will be adjusted as required. I care more about the space they have been occupying than the money which is just recycled into other knives that are more useful to us and the direction we are currently going.
Sorry if selling them all seems to offend some people.

IMHO, it'll get worse for the secondary market as Survive!'s own production and fulfillment process ramps up. Unless one owns an old school rare GSO in M390, Elmax and numbered to boot, everything else which is old from 2012, 2013 and 2014 will not fetch the kind of lofty and ambitious prices it used to.
Guess I better hang on to my GSO 4.1 in M390. In 18 years I can probably sell it and help my grandson through college. JK.
I love it and it's my go to hunting/camp knife. The 4.7 is what I'm beating on during the "testing" phase.
How do you like the 4.7 so far Ronnie? I'm still waiting for my CruForgeV version.
I have done business with Sky in the past on the Fiddleback Flea Market, and I purchased a couple of sheaths from him for Fiddlebacks as well. His prices were in line as to what the market was bringing for those knives and sheaths at the time. I'm certain he has patterns for his GSO offerings in the sheath line, so he will be able to continue to offer them. I missed the entire incident you and Silver are referring to, and I am glad I did. Clearly I think it is in bad form to publicly put down a business in the way that he did. I do remember back in the general discussion forum another starting knife maker was doing a similar thing. That was in very bad form as he was a competitor.
I was thinking something along the same lines today Silver when I saw all of his models up at one time. It would appear the backlash has caused him to walk away from building anymore leather for the GSO series. Or maybe, just maybe, he's lost enough business over the deal that he needs the money.
On another note, I respect the guys right to his opinion and I myself have been critical (along with MANY others) of the long wait times in the past. I think the difference is the way we handled it. IIRC, he was kind of an ass about the whole deal. Oh well, to each his own.
We'll see what they actually sell for. I'm interested in the 10.
I did my part on the 4.1. Couldn't resist it any longer at that ridiculously great value. Happy to remove the temptation from you blokes. It's nice having a 'heads up' thread to let people know where S!K's are popping up, best to not have it get locked up![]()
There's a Necker II on the FB page, someone should buy it so I don't keep looking at it. I think I'm perfectly happy with the 2.7 but I keep looking at it anyways.

Survive... Heads Up... Let's do more of that here. What say ye? [emoji6]
