Wow! Not sure how a feel about profit being made from a knife originally given as a gift. The guy selling says he bought it from the original recipient, so maybe it's more a reflection on the original owner. I don't know any more than what's in the description on ebay, but from just that information it doesn't seem right.
 
That same knife is was posted on the FB fan site. Legit S!K fan and owner. His explanation is there for anyone interested.

That 7 on the bay is highly overpriced lol along with the used 10 on there...

If you want to sell it here, and honestly, if you even want to inquire about price on BF you'll have to upgrade to a gold membership. Best advice I can think of is find a way to come up with the money somewhere else, 4.7's are amazing knives, you'll end up kicking yourself later. Good luck man!:thumbup:

Thanks! I just got a 5.1 recently, so I'm kinda torn about having two S!Ks that are so similar in size. Plus, I have a 6 and a 4.1 coming one day....

Your 6 will be a choil-less 5.1 basically if I'm reading the specs right, sell the 5.1, keep the 4.7. Just don't ask value here :P There are some on Ebay that may give you an idea but I'd recommend just sticking close to the original price.
 
If you list it elsewhere one of us will post it up in the 'Heads up' thread quickly enough :)
 
Necker II posted on the exchange, but the "market pricing" strategy he's using is more in line with lobster than crab cakes.

I don't think his reflected market pricing is very accurate lol i haven't seen a necker 2 sell beyond $150 even a few months back when market value was still high on all S!K knives. Now a days in the current market $100-130 is what is reasonably priced.

I looked, but didn't see an explanation on how he got it. He said he's the second owner, but that's as much as I could find.

He won it in that raffle a lil while back. Guy threw it in to sweeten the pot with the old spec 4.1 d3v

And that 6 was posted along with what seems to be a sudden mental break down...

Hahahahaha! And yeah, that guy with the 6 seems to have some social and mental issues judging from 75% of the FB posts in the last couple weeks.

Maybe he bought it from the guy that won it..idk..i just remembered when someone posted saying selling a free knife intended for test purposes was in bad taste it was rebuttaled with it came from that raffle. It was won by the luck of the draw and the winner paid to play...so at that point the owner can do as they please with it.


Now if it had been one Guy gave away for purposes of testing out then yea it's bad form.

So that 6 is down to 900 now. Is that the same one that was 975 last week and a few people were asking him WHY?
