Nope. nope. no.... That's not my knife, and the stories are getting mixed up now. I won the raffle. I was responding to someone who posted a major gripe about people selling the knives that were part of the original 30 test, pre-production blades. He was baiting for an argument, and I made a post from a different perspective. I won the knife in the raffle, I tested the crap out of it (for me, anyway) I later sold it to another major S!K fan, and used the proceeds to buy another S!K knife. Kept it all in the family.

If you go back and read the post over on FB about that CF V knife for sale, it was one of the 10 or so that were later for sale (at least that's how I read it) and the guy has never used it. He has two and just doesn't want a blade he'll not use and has kept this pristine.

Anyway, the stories are mixed up, and I never meant to bring heat on the guy for posting it. I believe it was come by legitimately and he has legit reasons for wanting to move it along.
 
Ronnie, I was just rounding down because I'm lazy. It's still posted as $975.

TR thanks for the info, but I must be looking at a different thread or something. The one started by M.B. doesn't have anyone rebutting anything.

And actually, the same guy is selling on ebay and he says there that he bought it from a guy who won it but then was deployed. Hmmm.....

Well we have it from the winner himself..it ain't the same knife what was won...idk to much drama between that and the mental breakdown happening on fb.

That individual seems to have loose screws just solely basing my judgement on his posts.

It's sacrilege on the page to have that. the knife is very well used. rust, scratches and creases on the sheath? He probably thought that someone is stupid enough to buy that.

I think it was made more in jest than anything....the guy just seems to be having a break down of some sort or began hitting the bottle fairly hard...idk but up until a few weeks he was normal then it began with the package game and a few wacky videos...and spiraled into what it became.

I don't get all the fuss, Somebody sells a few knives, old models at that, and you go all to pieces over it. One, I didn't realize I needed some sort of SK group blessing to sell my own property at a completely different venue. Two, If they went for higher than you thought you would think that you guys would be happy of a strong secondary market, especially for the old models which many of you have and are not in the same league as the new, instead of complaining about it?

Skyler, relax. I said I respect your opinion and I still do. You're free to say and think whatever you want. I do get the impression that more and more people think you're acting like an ass. You're free to do that too. We're free to say so and take our business elsewhere.

I don't want to fix my website. I have more business than I can handle and turn away more than I take in.

You offered up an opinion about a company I, and many others like and YOU decided to do the bad mouthing about them. That was your opinion, however unpopular it may be. I responded (and others) with OUR opinion. Okay, so you don't like it. I can respect that as well. Lots of people thought it was bad form and they decided to express themselves here and with their wallets.
So let's just leave it at that. You go your way with your little sheath company and I'll go mine. No harm no foul.

You got me Bobby3326. That must be a helluva guy posting up such a sweet blade at such a great price. If I didn't already own an old school 4.1 in M390, I'd take her off your hands. Good luck with your sale my friend. I'm surprised she's even still here but it is a holiday weekend and lots of folks are out of town.

I hope so lol...i don't really wanna sell it..but since i have 3 i figure id better redistribute funds around and stop hoarding lol..i mean does one really need a backup to the backup.

Can't drop the price anymore..I'm already in the hole for hopes of a quick sale.
