  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Survivors: other knives you like

If yu care to elaborate on it there is a thread for the folders that survive fans use.

Yes, it's my first. It feels really good. I really like balance and handle feels good. I don't love the g10, feels cheep. I got the Forest green g10.

I haven't had one in G10. I got an extra set of scales in the forest green, though. It would be nice if he offered texturing :)

I'll bet someone on the preorder list will swap out for their micarta. I've seen quite a few wanting the forest green.

The FK I received today I requested in unbuffed natural micarta. This is the first one I've had that wasn't buffed. It is ROUGH, I love it! My blue denim was so finely finished I hated to put the first scratch on it for awhile. This one screams to be used hard which I thoroughly plan to do.

I requested that in the preorder thread, but you will probably have your best luck by contacting Jo directly. She's been very helpful.

Yes I have both. The G10 is heavier. Nathan told me the knife was balanced for the Micarta. I much prefer the micarta for a number of reasons...

I think I like the ScrapYard offerings that I've gotten from Busse's OP2W as well as the others. Made my Trash-1 get nekkid last night, got a pretty good etch on the logo first. Could do without the choil but that's on most knives for me :D

Of their smaller blades though the Mean Street Ergo is really something. Phenomenal handle ergos on it, for my hand at least.
