Survivors! Suggestion Box for Survive! Knives...

Casino, your heart is in the right place, but I think this thread may be on course to where a lot of our similar discussions lead. They want to keep prices down, they want to keep innovating and making the best knife possible at the cost of time, they don't want to hire anyone else.

Am I antsyer than I thought possible for a knife? Yes.
Do I want to keep a realistic outlook on how long their process takes? Yes.
Do I think they should change what they're doing? No.

I have the power to lock down this thread and I'm easily bribed. I am just a very weak man :D

In lieu of the official Survive! hat, I suggest people wanting one take a velcro backed logo, and stick it on the front of a hat that comes with a loop panel.

It will do for now.

Go forth and prosper in unbridled joy my friends.

I don't visit as much as I used to because I got tired of people whining about wait times and thinking they could run S!K better than the folks who are running it now. My suggestion is forum related, not about the company. It is also more of a question or call for proposals. How do we get a crybaby thread started and convince the crybabies to stay in it and out of my positive S!K experience? I'll give away a free hat to anyone who can come up with crybaby bait and trap them all somewhere else where they can crybaby their brains out to each other and I can ignore them...

Lol. Its the interweb there's no getting away from crybabies.

I will say almost everyone here on this forum is here for one main reason. BLADES.

Saturday sales instead of monday. Some have work or school during the sales.

We considered doing it on the weekends but didn't for two reasons:
1: Our lowest sales are on weekends. People are out camping, mowing their yard, spending time with family, etc. We believe in that life and don't want to take up people's precious time off with refreshing a computer screen.
2: What about us? We are trying to find a work/life balance and we like weekends too.

If you did it Saturday morning right after Saturday morning cartoons you wouldn't please everyone. I like Mondays. I work too, but they do move times around to help accommodate accordingly. If a quality product is expected, don't you think they need to be able to walk away from there job at night or on the weekends?

I go camping, hiking, and fishing for my relaxation time. If I couldn't do that I assure you my work suffers. No one is exempt from this. Including the S! Crew. We can't expect them to live their lives through photos of their knives in the woods.

I don't know about everyone else but I expect and awesome blade from you guys. I also expect y'all to be human. Take said time off before Guy grinds my 7/7 false grind. Just don't make mine number 1 on that Monday, we all know how Mondays are.

That issue is also of concern to me! When I had received a message from Ellie (direct email) notifying me that there were issues with the handle scales I had chosen on one of my prior orders, I responded through the website and there was not confirmation reply. However, the message was responded to again through direct email within 48-72 hours. I also recall another case when I received no response to my inquiry through their website.

What is perplexing is that Ellie reads and responds to some issues on here and also from what I gather, she is very proactive on their social media platform, even if she is not overtly active. Many members on here sing Survive!'s praises for heeding to their comments made to Survive! be it FB, IG, etc; which is wonderful and shows that someone goes out of their way to follow up and even surprise buyers in a very pleasant way. I am wondering if there is actually a serious issue with Survive! not receiving their emails through their own website in a regular and reliable manner?!

I understand that they are small and it may take 2-3 days to get a response but you are not alone in that experience with not being responded to when emailed through their website's form.
