We are actively looking for someone with more patience than I have to help with emails. There will be someone hired to do customer service, as soon as possible.
This will be a great idea for your own sanity's sake. You have too much vested (
personally, financially, emotionally) in the business to be matter-of-fact and business-like with rude
and demanding people. Get someone hired with some CR experience who will be able to tell these people, "Thank you for your interest and inquiry. Have a pleasant rest of your day".
Allow me to tell you a story and brace yourself as it's gonna be a looong one:
A couple of weeks ago I was selling off one of the 5.1s which I had bought from you in April 2016, I bought 2 because I wanted to gauge the 3V vs the 20CV, just to fondle them and let one go.
As it happens, I became more partial to the 3V and was hoping the the 20CV would go first, but I was going to keep whichever that did not sell first. I tried them on the other major auction site
first and I received a couple of demeaning and condescending email messages telling me as to what a rip off artist I was as I was asking a premium over what you have them listed on your site.
In my response, i was very polite and stated that I was not forcing anyone to buy my items and also that the 5.1 model was no longer available for preorder and that there was probably a long
waiting period. Also, I was the lowest priced at the time and I was hoping that people would have enough sense to know that eBay fees shave off about 10% of the selling price based on Buy Now.
One person went away, but another who claimed to personally know Guy started to get more aggressive and belligerent in their response. The person had claimed that Guy was very upset about
people doing this and by profiting from his products. Just to shut that person up, I stated that if Guy was having a problem with me, he would be welcome to reach out to me directly. I am neither
a professional knife seller nor a knife dealer. I simply did not need to keep 2 x GSO 5.1 and that was clearly stated in those said listings.
What happened next was very ugly and the person started asking me if I was a stupid a** N****r!!! I merely responsed with, "really? In this day and age?". I then asked the person again to stop
abusing the member to member email communication channel. What came after that was more racial slurs, death wish to my family and I and other belligerent threats. I took the matter up to
eBay and sadly that person is still active but may have received a serious infraction from eBay. Did I believe that the person was speaking on behalf of Survive!? HECK NOOOOO! The moral of the
story is that unfortunately people with little or no regards for other, without any politeness and decorum live among us and the Internet has enabled then to make threats and act all buff and tough
trying to lead a cause which not only has anything to do with them but they need to pick up something to make it a cause to feel better about their own sad and pathetic sub-existence.
For the record, I am not African American and I am not going to die just because someone wished me harm, so those vicious insults have no bearing on anything actual. So here is a suggestion
to bring me back full circle to the topic of this thread:
If that POS who sent me those nasty messages happens to read this, that person should be ashamed of himself and no matter how many tools someone has bought from Survive! stop acting
like you are a part of this company and the sense of self grandeur that you speak for them. If they have a problem, they can speak up for themselves.
Off the soap box and man that felt GOOOOD! And yes Ellie, hire someone to deal with those kind of people who were not blessed with a good family upbringing manifesting in good mannerism
and / or a good life education
