I think that if I really wanted to discuss it, I'd go to the Swamp Rat forum.
Nothing personal, but all of this rat chat is getting REALLY OLD.

I agree that the Companies need to be kept separate, but let's keep things in perspective. Many of the current Busse owners were first Swamp Rat customers, we really are on the same team.

I don't have any problem liking knives from both companies, supporting both companies and enjoying both companies forums. A friendly re-direction to the correct forum or a kind word will do a lot of good, for both companies.

well said eric. walking man, you brought up the rat/INFI rivalry before and questioned how INFIfans felt towards rat references being made here and i pointed out then that it was all in fun and lighthearted humor, since the two are essentially the same company (but still diferent), but im thinking now that you still dont get it. "relax" comes to mind...just enjoy the forums, it really isnt that serious

I think I was having a bad morning. The whole rat thing over here is getting pretty old though.
 
What I asked was in direct context of this forum. I took a quote from the swamprat site that related to the Busse knives, the basics. Is that off topic here?
 
I guess we are going to have to form a "RAT PATROL" unit to keep this forum "rat free"!

I didn't say it was off-topic, however if you continue to ask questions that have to do with Swamp Rat don't be surprised if others mention them as well. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say it is "getting pretty old", but as long as Busse and Swamp Rat have a strong connection there will be discussion on the forums about them.

The Rat Chat forum gets questions all the time about Busse, do you know what I do with those questions? I answer them.
