To satin the screws I use a small scotch brite wheel on my Dremmel, the ones pictured are bead blasted. I have a small cabinet for the bead blasting work.

Those look great blasted. I just got a light user 25 and mine are all scratched up.

Bead blasting the scales all but eliminates the scratches, I know a lot of people like the scratches and marks the scales pick up from carry and use but it drives me nuts.

Not to mention it gives the knife a more finished look IMHO.

I like the marks on the scales but the brushed look on the screws is what I really like.
