Swedish Hults Burk surplus Boys axes.

This axe surplus thing coincides with Swedish dumping of gov't-surplus rifles a few years ago. All kinds of neat stuff came out of that too and for a very low price. Unbelievable what surveyors, biologists, foresters, fire rangers and game wardens were issued/equipped with over there during the past 75 years. Anything before that, I suspect, was melted down or used by the Germans.
I guess I'm going to have a closer look at the 'cheap' Swedish axe my dad bought in the early 60s.

I have a operation on my hand so i have to take a break from forging so i have not forge any custom axes for some time but i have start forging again i forge some new axes that maybe will be seen in US ;-) So hope that i soon can start up the custom axes forging .
