Swiss Army Knife GAW - WINNER ANNOUNCED

Thanks for the giveaway sir, please count me in! I've wanted to try an electrician for a while!

Hey, me too! Family obligations have kept me off the bike mostly for the past couple of years, but I still get out occasionally ~ these days I'm mostly relegated to quick fishing trips and overnight backpacking trips with the kiddos ~

This is my EDC bag with gear.
Vietnam Era Compass (H3 Tritium)
Velcro Sraps
Camo Duct tape
Magnesium Firestarter
Work Gloves by Wels Lamont
Tiger Balm
I take this with me on hikes and travels. Please count me in, thanks for the generous gesture!!

I'll let this run for a few more days and pick a winner on July 3d or 4th so as to get it in the mail in the 5th or 6th.

Me too!

They're all in Central Idaho - the first picture is in the Lost River Range where the tallest mountain in Idaho is (just off to the right in the photo), the 2nd is the Pioneer range where I went backpacking in this thread. The last one is Big Windy Summit in the Lemhi range south of Salmon :)

I mean, nevermind, Idaho is just a big dirt field full of potatoes and McDonald's trucks hauling them around the country. All the other states around here are pretty nice though! ;)

I drove through Idaho last year and was super impressed by the scenery. It's one of those states that kind flies under the radar.

Great giveaway. I've yet to own an Alox SAK, as well. I have an Alox USB stick that looks just like a Classic, but alas, it has no blade.

Anyway, I find myself addicted to buying silver art rounds, as well as knives. There are just so many cool designs coming out these days. Look up "Zombucks" on the auction site, or Silver Bullet Silver Shield.

Here's a couple that I carry around daily, along with my 2 favorite EDC blades.

Very interesting Thread!! Yes I'd love to participate. I enjoy gardening. and taking my truck fishing.

meako, please email me your snail mail address and particulars, if any, I need to know to get the knife to you.

Bill

Congrats Meako! Well done Leghog! Meako if you haven't tried this pattern I think you'll like it. Quite a bit sturdier than the traditional SAKs I had held.

Congrats on winnin' a great knife, one of these days I'll get one at least it went to a good member. Thanks for the generous giveaway Bill.

Oh wow.:D
Early to rise this morning Tuesday.
Part of my retired fireman at age 51 now I have to work to support my beer and pocketknife habits.
My first serious penknife was an alox sak when I was back at Jannali Boys High school in the early 80s.we all had one.One of a few that have not kept up the pace and been lost in the mists of time.
Thanks so much Bill.
Pm sent.
At least Boris has made himself useful at last:)
Normally hes a snappin'strikin'slitherin psycho that would like nothing better than to sink his many sharp pointy teeth into me.Which he has done acouple of times.
Cheers all.
