Great looking knife Nathan! I really like the etched blade.

Thanks guys  I gotta say when Todd snapped me off a pic of the mammoth he was going to be working with and sent it to me I couldn't really picture in my head what the finished product would look like. But the man told me it was going to come out real nice and who am I to argue with that? :D Needless to say I'm very pleased and I know that when it arrives the F&F will be spot on. I'll post a pic with my other Davison when it arrives. Time to start thinking about the next one! :)

Nathan

My first T.A. Davison and only my second custom traditional! It's a 3 5/8" Crimson jigged bone sway back. Acid etched ATS34, fantastic fit and finish and great edc size. My first of hopefully many more from Todd. Some quick pics.

Really nice knife jritayik. He makes some nice slip-joints. I am unfortunately addicted.

Wow what a great looking knife jritayik!

Your pictures really show it off well.

I just acquired #797, black linen micarta, with a Harley shield, 3" blade.

I don't have a decent camera for pics.

Beautiful knife. Wish I had more.

After a "catch and release" of one of Todd's knives, knew I wanted one a little smaller, made to my liking. Found some nice crackly mammoth ivory that Todd agreed to use along with these specs: 3.25" overall, wharncliffe acid etched blade, fluted bolsters, bollocks shield, pinchable, 4 on a 10 scale pull, trapper shaped handle. Kind of a sway back jack with the blade turned 180 degrees so it folds out the backside. Pinchable feature keeps me from getting bit, saves thumbnails, and is easier for arthritic hands. In summary, Todd hit another homer on #839 ... let the pics do the talking.

Todd, thanks for making me such a nice knife. This one's a keeper.

That's a beauty John! I really like the etch Todd does and that Mammoth Ivory is particularly nice.

Oh and by the way ... Thanks for your service! I did 4 in the USAF and got out when you were going in.

John,

You are very welcome, enjoy the new knife.
Thanks for the plug and great photos.

Gary,

Thanks for your service, providing me a path to follow. The Air Force was the best thing to ever happen to me.

This is a definite EDC. Perfect size and it literally disappears in the pocket.
The walk and talk is one of the best I've owned. Really did a good job on
this one Todd. The Ivory is delicious too. Love it!!

Thanks!!!

Perfect, Todd! You seem to have a sweet spot for ivory... :D
What closed length is it?
I do love the knives halfted in Ivory that's for sure. I like the way it yellows over time, also love mammoth Ivory,
Mastodon, and pre-banned ivory. But to answer your question Peter, it is 3+1/2" closed. I do have an Ebony
wood from Todd, also some amber bone and a multitude of case xx knives in bone.

Thx, Todd L.
