Quite the beauty Todd !!!:thumbup::thumbup::)

I had a custom order placed with Todd which turned out to be #1267 ( the Green Jigged Bone Folder ).
When it was completed, my Wife decided it was her's. I quess when they turn out too pretty, I don't stand a chance.
With the fluted and pinched front bolster and coined edge, it turned out EXCEPTIONALLY NICE.
#1267 makes a nice companion to #947 that I had Todd custom make for me almost three years ago,
a "his and hers" set as tleav61 would call them.

I wasn't going to post this pic until I got the knife but I'm too excited. I'll post more pictures once I have it in hand. I wanted something with clean lines and on the order of a great carry knife. Took some elements that I liked from other knives he did and blended them into one. He got it exact! Notice the coining goes all the way around...you can see it start to wrap around in the top picture.

Jake,
CONGRATULATIONS, on Your BEAUTIFUL FOLDER.
I would say that Todd got this one "EXACTLY" right with the clean lines.
GREAT looking swedge on a PERFECT BLADE.
Hopefully I can see #1271 up close.

Thanks guys. I originally asked for a short cut swedge and a long pull but after realizing that I have a bunch of long pull knives, I asked Todd if he would do a long swedge and tuck a nail nick right under it. I'm glad he was ok with the change since I think it fits perfectly.

Tim, we'll have to meet up sometime. It's been a busy summer!

Jake,

Glad you like the knife, should be able to mail it tomorrow.

Thanks guys -

So much nicer in the hand than in pictures. Everything on it is crisp and clean, just what I wanted. Thanks again Todd!

Lovely knife ! Todd's knives always have perfect clean lines with a flow that gives a unified whole. it sounds a bit clumsy perhaps but i don't know how else to express it. Really Todd's knives speak for themselves, instantly attractive and then pleasing in hand, smooth in action and as sharp as they come.
Congratulations Jake. Are you planning to use it on a regular basis ?

Very nice Jake & Todd

Jake,
NICE CLEAN FOLDER, the continious coined edge is CLASSY.
The pinched bolster draws the eyes to the BEAUTIFUL BLADE.

Todd's knives always have perfect clean lines with a flow that gives a unified whole.

Joe,
I think You said it perfectly clear.

Thanks Luc, KJ, Vince and Tim. I do plan to carry it and use it. I wanted something along the lines of a basic knife that I'd want to carry on a regular basis. It's 3-5/8" so it's the perfect EDC size for me. Micarta speaks for itself and I also left out all the fancy crap that may inhibit me from wanting to actually use it without fear of scratches and such. I added the coining all the way around however to give it a little something special. I'm 100% happy with how it turned out.

Family pic to follow in the next day or so....(weather permitting).
