Nice Jeff!! I have 1323 on me today. I'm glad you're happy with your first Davison....there will be more you know!

Might as well include a pic since I'm bored at work...

Very nice picture of a very nice knife with some great jigging on it Jake !!!!! What is the closed length ????

Harry

That one is 3-3/4" Harry. I'll have to get a few more pics of it. There's a few back a couple of pages from when I first got it.

That's a good video to show off your knife Jeff. I really like it a lot. Here was my carry for the day that I posted in the "Totin Today" thread. #1201 has a similar blade as yours but it's got a touch more belly and the swedge helps streamline the taper toward the tip.

Jeff,
Thank You for sharing Your video, it was the the next best thing to having the knife in hand.
You have a BEAUTIFUL FOLDER made by A TRUE CRAFTSMAN.

You've got 1201? Nice. I've got 1200. Nice one. That pattern and iron wood is one of my favorites that todd does.

Yeah, he totally nailed what I wanted. Some great looking flat-sawn Cocobolo with a nice big shield. It's a good size knife, but with 3/32" blade stock it's going to be an awesome slicer. Most of my woodworking tools are A2 steel, so I like it quite a bit. Gonna be an anxious few days until it arrives! I'll turn a nice Cocobolo lanyard bead for it while I wait!

Gonna try some leather, but may use some boot lace if it doesn't look right. It will just be a real short fob to help pull it out of the belt sheath I use.

Ben,
Your T.A. Davison has NICELY SHAPED, BEAUTIFUL SCALES and the blade is VERY NEAT.
Your lanyard bead will look GREAT with Your knife.

New ole red put in a workout in the garden yesterday. Planting tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, peas and fertilizing the blueberries and muscadines. Lots of opening bags and plant wrappers and I guess somewhere along the way I hit a rock cause I had a pretty good ding.

I was a little iffy at first, I have had to do any serious edge work to any of my Davisons, or any expensive knives for that matter. I usually treat them well.

Off to the lansky she went for a 20 deg per side edge (a little shallower than what todd had on it) and a Polish up on the sharpmaker. Sumgun is lightsaber sharp now! So I had to do the wharncliff to make it match then.

Sliced my dish rag washing it up after!
