Man, that is a beauty -- that ivory is really nice. Unusual to find that large of a swayback wharncliffe too.

Oh man, that is some AMAZING ivory!
 
Whoooowheee!! Killer knife, the swayback is my favorite pattern and my favorite swayback was made by Todd. Add that ivory to the mix...man...don't know what else to say! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy!

Congratulations - what a beauty! Now that's something to look forward to. You have a nice collection already with these 4 from Todd...
I'm glad you found such a nice one from Todd with Mammoth Ivory too ;)
 
Very Nice Jos, I like the hint of green in the Burl. I should make an error correction on my post. The knife is actually 4" closed, not 4" of Ivory. Like Zerogee said, that would be an unusually big sway-back. I have another Wharncliffe from Todd Davison that is 3-7/8" and I love it.

Those Mammoth Ivory scales are excellent. Congratulations on owning a great knife and to Todd for creating it.

I was a little bit in a hurry taking this shot because the waves kept splashing onto the rocks and the crabs below were already lurking :eek:
