Todd, I'm sure I'm not the first, nor the last, to say this, but I really admire your work with burls. Not just the working of these hard woods, but the staining of them as well. Nice work.

Todd just wanted you to know how much I'm enjoying #1547
It's riding in a new leather slip.
It's a match made in heaven when excellence meets Greatness :)

I love how you can only see the green around the edges. Is it like that in person too?

That color really fits that pattern, though I'm not quite sure why.

It is very dark - out side in sun light shows more green, and with time it should show more green?

Thanks! - Have a great weekend -

Todd, a terrific trio! I had my eye on 1561 esp. However, 1560 caught my eye too as it appears to have a semi-sink joint, very pleasing to me.

By chance I recently came across an old thread of yours on sunk joints (Custom Slip Joint Discussion), where you take a different perspective on sunk vs common joints. I prefer the lines of a closed sunk joint knife, but now see your point of the lines when open too.

Do you think a so called semi-sunk joint a reasonable compromise, or just undesirable both open and closed?

BTW #233 in that post is a real looker.
