I have been looking at all sorts of offerings of primitive bone....or rather non-jigged. Of really like to add one to my collection....not that I'm buying anymore knives....

I agree with scruffuk...that one is awesome, Jeff!!

Thanks fellas, the gnarly primitive bone, stag and ram's horn are my favorites.

Sure, sure you're not, right, right . . . . oh, I believe you, yeah . . . . ;)

I'm carrying the Colt Teardrop jack I received last week. This is my third in the series and I like every one. This is a very substantial knife with plenty of heft. More of a working knife than a Sunday or office knife. Plenty of handle to grab onto with good stag jigging and nice color. I haven't used it enough to establish how good the steel is, but it came plenty sharp out of the box.

I have been seeing a bunch of the Colt knives on the bay and like the looks of a few. Does anyone know what company is making them?

I think it is the same company that makes Rough Riders. most of them are pretty good, some minor gaps scales to liner etc.

On another forum they said they are made by United Cutlery.

Then they stated.

United Cutlery - they make cheap production knives out of low grade Pakistan steel. Like Frost Cutlery and the like.

I don't know about this for sure.

I've been carrying this one along for a few consecutive days now.
