T~bone Tuesday

I always forget about these special days. So, when I got home I exchanged my cream sawcut delrin Sears/Craftsman peanut for something with bone handles.

Since this fellow had spun a web right next to my door and greeted me upon my arrival home,

I decided to pocket something green for the evening.

Old Schrade 1/2 Trapper with some very nice peachseed jigged bone. Nice colors..imho!

Man, this is a beauty..... I would love to have one like it. Is there a quality modern version of this out there that captures the same lines and details?

I've been a bit beside myself of late because I keep thinking that, except for my RR Copperhead, I don't have a decent offering to show on a T-Bone Tuesday.....how silly of me....

Uncle Andi gifted me this lovely Case SS Peanut. Today was the first time I've carried it and genuinuely thought 'I don't need anymore of a knife today, this shall be enough'.

Thank you again Andi for this one. I am (very) slowly but surely coming round to the Peanut as a practical knife for my needs.

Great pics guys. Love the spider Doug

Had my 66 along today.

Love what you have done with this one Christian. Looks like something I pulled out of my grandfather's tool box that he used 50 years ago!

For me today, it's almost like two T-bones for the price of one.

Ah Doug, nice to see the old feller back in his home! Tree stump really shows him off well.

Thanks, Will

Thanks Doug. As soon as I received this knife I started tinkering with it. This was done so that I wouldn't hesitate to put it to use.

Very nice swell end. WB bone is not seen nearly enough, wish you could get some on a GEC soon.

Well, they can do it. Here's a GEC made Bulldog brand 23 liner lock along with an older Queen pen knife and the newer '76.
