Thanks John. That 74's pin striping comes from an American Chestnut and it started a whole big thing for me and GEC 74s. It is put together with as close to the perfect build as I've ever seen. Virtually flawless in any way that can be measured, with one and only one exception... pin depth. That one exception keeps it believable, who ever heard of a perfect production knife? It is without a doubt one knife (barring any unforeseen circumstance like a Kurgan ) I'll be keeping for as long as I'm around. :)
Well let's hope the Kurgan doesn't see this thread then. :) That is a beautiful knife and one to be proud of.

I've never been much good at group shots and my new point&shoot is different from its predecessor but here's a shot of the corner of the desk.

In no way am I methodical about carry, I certainly don't want to get into some schedule or routine of rotation...no, it's whim based. There might be something in this pile worth carrying today, if not, there are other piles on the desk and all around the place. Then there's pockets, chests, bookshelves and more...riches :D

You sound like my kids. Lol
Great group of knives, "riches" for sure.

That group shot turned out very well and quite an enviable pile it is!! I see the Winchester gunstock is in it's proper position, center stage :thumbsup: you have good taste in cutlery Will. Glad to see you got the new camera, seems to be working good for you. If you want some additional practice with it, we'd all love to see some of those other piles you have around.:)

I have been keeping up with this thread since it started. redsparrow redsparrow I think it’s an excellent idea for a thread and a great way for everyone to see what others have in their daily rotation. I have a large machinists chest that I keep some of my user knives in. Here is the drawer that I pulled open this morning. You can go to a couple of other threads and see which one made its way into my pocket today! ;) I’ll try to stop back occasionally with more photos! :D

Half/Stop Half/Stop -Ron, glad you could join in. That one drawer alone could keep this knife nut happy for weeks... maybe months! It contains several of my favorites; 74, 35s, sowbelly... not to mention barlows, 48s, Northwoods, and so on. Quite a pile! Thanks for posting!:thumbsup:
