No - Comedy is not pretty.... just doing my job.Did they really do 9.11% off?
I'm not outraged about it but using a tragedy to sell something is poor taste.I got two emails from them, the first one is a tribute of some sort to those involved in 9/11 with no for sale ads in it. The second email is just titled "never forget" with the sales ad in it but no other mention of 9/11. Title of 2nd email is stupid but I'm not getting where the outrage is coming from.
Wasn't specifically calling you out, was just sharing my observationI'm not outraged about it but using a tragedy to sell something is poor taste.
That link is the one that was titled "never forget" in my email
Should have been one email with never forget and then a couple days later the sale notice without any 9-11 commentary.
I figured that thanks!Wasn't specifically calling you out, was just sharing my observation
... Well color me shocked. I hope Tyler over at Survive! is taking notes. This was their response View attachment 2319188
Well this is going to really mess with the 2 for 1 spear sale this Easter.
Hey, this is a really good thing to see. Thank you for posting their reply... Well color me shocked. I hope Tyler over at Survive! is taking notes.
Well handled, SMKW... even if you're still the mall ninja capital of the world.
Uhhhh… you’re welcome?Hey, this is a really good thing to see. Thank you for posting their reply
The words “never forget” likely don’t mean much to someone who was a toddler at the time. I remember it was a Tuesday and I was in home room in my newly minted sophomore year of high school. I watched a man break down crying the following Sunday in church just trying to read the epistle of the day; his daughter commuted into NYC that Tuesday morning and was lost in the rubble. If this is the ad everyone is upset about, the answer is: you are overthinking it and need to take a nap.
So the words "never forget" can never be used in any sort of context without relating to 9/11? Good to know. The words “never forget” likely don’t mean much to someone who was a toddler at the time. You might not get it, and that’s fine, but uttering “never forget” and sending knife deals in the body of the email comes across disingenuous. Make a tribute, or send knife deals. Don’t do both.
