Tactical Knife

I don't see hand slippage onto the blade an issue...At least with the SAR4-even with a reverse grip-stabbing! Pretty static grip! The Busse Talon hole guard seems more than adequate. Just my two cents-may not reflect everyones usage:D

Just a quick update...

I decided to keep my strider EB-T on the vest. So far i just haven't found anything that can beat it.

HOWEVER

I still had Hog fever so i picked up a skinny ASH to wear either on my belt or to keep in my breacher kit. This knife is absolutely beautiful!! It looks like a great knife and i hope it holds up well.

It came with a mashed cat kydex sheath which is very nice. I am putting this guy into service immediately and i will let you know how it does!

Way to go Marsh! You've done as well as you possibly could have, in my opinion. Looking forward to your "range report"!

Can you imagine a Skinny ASH-S? A Skinny Anniversary Steel Heart-Small, as in that exact design scrunched to 9.5" overall would be absolutely perfect for the vest.

Very cool idea!

A short ASH, I would like to see that as well. I rekon the handles on the ASH are really comfy and secure.

The mudders are excellent and the overall design is very nice, it may not be infi but it is Busse-kin, and maybe we will see an INFI version someday. The overall length is right around 10"

if i was going to do a fixed blade for edc as an leo, using for basically anything that would come along with that field, prying doors, car or homes, cutting open contraband packs, close quarters manueverablility, i would go with one of the hacks or an active duty, maybe a game warden. either of those would be excellent with leather or kydex sheaths.

Just a quick update. After a few weeks of worth i am very impressed with the skinny ash. I wasn't overly impressed with the sharpness level when i got it but a few minutes on the lee valley strop i ordered and the edge is fantastic.

This knife is too big and heavy to carry on a vest, but it is a wonderful all purpose cutter. Through drywall and wooden boards, cutting pretty much anything i can find, and quite frankly it looks really great. I really like this knife and i know i am no where near the edge of what this blade is capable of handling.

Bravo, i only wish i had more money to pick up about 10 more styles and shapes to use!!
