Tacticlol Knives II: The Return of Ridiculous

Buying a 15 dollar "Verlangerungsmesser" style clasp knife is what turned me onto things like Cold Steel, but...this doesn't even have a clasp... You can't pocket this. The one I got from Amazon, under the "Grand Way" brand, at least has a clasp and can be whipped open fast. Boy, this is bad.

who doesn't want a Hinderer fake with massive pocket clip bling.

More like tartanus.
More like Tetanus.

So, BudK still sends their catalog to me, and it makes for some pretty darn hilarous reading. I am embarrassed to have the mailman see this, but love flipping through it, look at this United Cutlery warrior, or the high quality 2cr steel they boast! Bayonet best for high powered assault rifles! This is seriously the most irresponsible company, flipping through this it is clear who they are marketing to, and it would be the equivalent of if Intratec put out ads like, "Ventilate their house with the best - CHOOSE INTRATEC!"

So many of these are so stupid. However, some do meet the "tactical" standard of "if you swing this thing at someone hard, it will mess them up". Of course, that category also includes things like a brick duct-taped to a sturdy stick or cheese graters stapled to a baseball bat.

Oh, yeah, you can certainly jam the pointy end of anything in there in someone's belly, with devastating results, but the build quality is so laughably poor, I saw a new linerlock knife from them fail on deployment, the liner flipped to the other side. But they are definitely real weapons! Ha. So, one must hope their items stay...put together for long enough to work.

Dude, you should see the build quality of my brick duct-taped to a sturdy stick. 🤪
