Tacticlol Knives

It's usually people who love 3mm blades with a tip like a needle who spread evil gossip like that.

Haha, been flamed in another forum for commenting that a certain "perfect knife" had a fragile tip. Ok, I'll play too.

Do you have one or did you at one time philwar? It really appeals to my fat-a** sedentary mall ninja side. They look huge!
I own one. I'm having an EDC sheath for it made at the moment. The production sheath is purely for outdoors use.

That's why I edc'd my Rajah 1 all day yesterday. I forgot the monster was in my pocket for hours until I reached inside to get my keys. :)
Hehe. See? It takes a slight amount of getting used to. :D

You make fun of some no name company for their blade design everyone starts lumping in and laughing at it. (Dark ops, Mantis, ect.) You start to slam some respected knife company for their knife design everyone starts screaming bloody murder.

Granted I think I'll get one, but if this was made by anyone else like Dark Ops everyone would be like TACTICLOL!

I just got an Assailant II, and could care less who made it, or if someone thinks it is mall-ninja and lets be frank; Dork-Ops or Manpiss could'nt invent something this simple and unfettered.. A damn fine last-ditch tool for sure.

Those are definitely in the realm of tacticalol, no matter if it's a Snody crisis card or an Assailant II. "Oh yeah here's my credit card"...... proceeds to chop up thief with tiny edge of metal square.

Didn't you see the movie Glimmer Man starring Steven Seagal. He took out 4 Russian Mafia guys with a card knife.:D

I'm old enough to be father to two actual mall ninja's (9 and 11) but my inner mall ninja is still alive and kicking too. I like Extrema Ratio. :o :D

We could probably trade some good stories. I helped my three Jr mall ninjas build assisted openers the other evening with their Lego sets.

A bunch of guys chatting on the web about knives about "mall ninjas" is a little ironic. I am pretty sure that somewhere out there, there is a very large group of people that would call the whole lot of us tacticool-dork-mall-ninjas (or worse) for hanging out on a forum discussing knives!

Failure to understand why someone derives pleasure from a harmless hobby probably should not result in name calling....but hey I have done it...countless times. If you can not laugh at your self and your buddies once in a while, life gets pretty boring.

Just remember, he's a real cop, too! If he killed with one, it must be a great weapon.....

BTW, Glimmer Man is a great movie! Powdered Deer Penis.... Hilarious!

I empathize. I have an appointment with two psychopaths armed with Cold Steel training swords, intent on murdering poor old dad.

Totally agree. Most of us have a mall ninja hidden away inside us. We may not all like Dark Ops knives, but it's equally silly trying to rationalize and justify owning a hundred knives or more. I like shiny pointy objects, the more the better, so sue me. :D I'll accept any ridicule coming my way, I've earned it!

Unlikley, but it could happen. Got it more as an extreme back-up tool more than anything.

call it what you will, its still tacticlol. Not trying to start any more angry over-opinionated posts, its just interesting to see how some people mock tacticool gear and then, when gear that they own gets mocked, they jump to justify having it.

;) no argument-starting intended

No doubt a good last, last ditch attenpt to "eff" somebody up if it came to it. :) Very tacticlol

"they jump to justify having it"
Don't really need to justify having it, just an explanation as to why I got it...which, I guess is an explanation of sorts..... Thanks for pulling me back into it!!!

No need to justify tacticalol gear. I dig looking at crazy mall ninja gear - the "over the top stuff." I don't buy it though. :thumbdn:

One of my friends bought a gigantic norseman Conan Barbarian sword and mounted it on the wall in his living room with grea pride. A really cheap POS for sure.

I was able to keep a straight face & compliment it's lethality and the cool chunk of red glass - fake ruby, mounted on the hilt.

When I got to my car I chuckled all the way home at his huge POS sword & badassedness...:D
