That's the tacticlol beast alright. I've seen karate bo katas where they hold the stick in the middle and walk around twirling it in a windmill action. I'm thinking that's what they have in mind. :thumbup:
 
Yes it it from Halo.

It is a replica designed after the Beam sword (kinda like lightsabers) wielded by the Elites (aliens).

In the game all they have is the handle and the blades come out all Jedi like.

The difference is that a lightsaber is pure energy, whereas the energy sword from Halo is made from shaped plasma!!! DUHHHHHHHHHH!:thumbup:

I LOVE THAT YOU POSTED THIS!

I saw it just the other day! An unabashed ripoff of the Tom Brown Tracker/WSK style blade, and the bit that cracks me up is that he's obviously holding something else and the knife is superimposed right where his hands are!

LOL, these guys aren't even TRYING to be legit!! :D

I think the marine that's "holding" the knife actually is holding a scorpion or some similar dangerous critter. Look at the expression of the marine in the background...his eyes are bugging out like the other guy is holding something scarier than that alleged "knife".

I was thinkin' the same thing, lol.

If you look just under the blade, you can see what looks like a scorpion hanging from his hand. I think that would explain the look... :D

I am not slamming TOPS knives themselves (great product), but the company name stands for "Tactical Ops", and the slogan is, IMO, tacticlol: "Special Ops Trust Tops Cause They're Hard to the Core". They aren't mall ninja knives, but they're at least apparently marketing them to mall ninjas w/money.

A little over the TOP if you ask me--sorry, you'll have to have me sent to the PUNitentiary where I'll be severely PUNished. :D
