Tank Like Folders?

I realize this is an old topic, but thought it's quite interesting.

However, isn't 2 inches of steel a lot stronger than 2 inches of Titanium? So, if you want a tank like folder, wouldn't an integral, all steel construction folder be the way to go?
 
I got this ZT301 tank for xmas and I don't see where you can do any better for a hard use knife.
