Team Gemini. . . Light Brigade Series!!!!!!. . . . Oh Yeah!!!!!. . . Cool Spy Pic. .

Its not offered bead blasted right now, you may have seen the tanker grey version it almost looks bead blasted.

Forgive me if this was answered but will the TGLB be offered in a bead blasted finish? On Busse's front page, it shows a TGLB with what looks like a bead blasted finish but I don't see it as an option on the order page.

No, only coated blades for this model.

That is sage I think.

Bummer. Bead blasted would have been nice to match it up with Daryl Dixon's knife but then again, Tanker Grey or black on black are damn sexy too. God I hope I have enough to get one of these before they disappear.

I think Daryl's WAS Tanker Grey...but he scraped a lot of the coating off. Not positive though.

That is what I'm banking on. I ordered the Tanker/black canvas for a Daryl costume.

I would like to ask about the "air pockets" between the cut-outs and the scale; How does Busse laminate these 2?
My concern is is Team Gemini used for sticking pigs (it does look like one), what if the blood flow into the gap in between and it will def stinks the paint off the wall.

Just my .02 cents.

Does the G10 darken over time like the canvas does? I may have to try to change my order to the tan/black G10.

None of the knives I've had with g10 ever have discolored in any way. Canvas micarta though does darken with use and dirt and blood. Cleans up easily though to just like new with a little soap and water.

Interesting. How sure are we that Daryl's handle is Tan/Black G10 and not Green/Black.

I just watched it the last episode again. It looks like tanker with black canvas to me too.

Newazzkikr, is double-cut g10 your guess, or do you know for sure? Thanks brother!

I feel like an uber-dork, but I want to get one just like it.

In the close up of the butt of it when he was in the creek it looked to be DC with black and tan G10.

Yes, the Double-cut blade and Black/Tan G10 handles is only my guess from what I have seen from the pictures floating around here and also based on watching the first and second series in HD quality.

For me it is understandable that you want the very same knife but, sorry, I will disappoint you. This is the Light Brigade Team Gemini that is currently offered and is not yet produced. Even though Deryl carries Team Gemini, it is definitely the older version with convex grind. In my opinion, the Light Brigade version has a much better grind so I'm not trying to discourage you from buying one, in fact, the opposite is the true. I'm buying this knife just because of this fine grind. All I'm saying that it is not the exact same replica of the Tam Gemini Model used in the mini-series.

Take a look at these pictures. I saved them from the very first post made by Jerry Busse introducing this knife.

I believe that this is the very same knife that Deryl carries. It is just my opinion from what I have seen however.

If you really want to know whether I'm right or wrong you should ask Busse officials. Perhaps they will know. But there is also a real possibility that they don't know what knife that is (I mean colors) and how it got to the mini-series or maybe they will not want to discuss how the knife found its way to the mini-series.

I would suggest to all Walking Dead fans to buy Light Brigade Team Gemini in the colors and materials that they personally like because I think that it is a well improved version from what Deryl carries. In the end it is the same model from the same manufacturer. I say GO FOR IT and PERSONALIZE IT !!!

I know the LB is different. I just want the closest color scheme I can get because it is for a costume.

For a costume??? That's pretty expensive item for a costume. Thank god you haven't chosen to go for a Batman.

Ow! Do you have some crossbow already? Post some pics how you look in your costume

Aside from the weapons it is quite cheap. The knife is the first item I've ordered for it. Won't be done for a few months.

Waiting to find a used Horton Scout 125 somewhere.

Hoping to have it done for a convention Norman Reedus is attending.

Edit: This was much more expensive.

True the TGLB isn't the exact same as the original TG Daryl carries but it's the closest thing I can get atm. Honestly though, a black on black TGLB is just sooo sweet lookin' but having a knife that resembles America's favorite lovable redneck zombie ass kicker is cool too.
