Team Gemini Special Edition A2 . . . . Pics!

Perhaps the BGTG will join the BGFBM and BGAK as regularly available items, and that is why there is an established price.

Makes sense. I just hope they don't bump up the price just "because". Although it looks like that will be the case. The AK had a price jump, we already know the BG FBM will too....$70 more for the BG Team Gemini though?

Oh hoo... never thought of that! Now we're talking! I bet you are on to something there ScoMa. I hope you are right!

$327

It'd be nice to see the edges rounded off like the TGLB had. I had a CS TG14 and even with the beautiful satin finish and gorgeous g-rexed handles it just didn't quite feel "finished" to me with all the hard corners.

You are citing Special Offer Pricing!!! . . . Oh the HOGmanity!!!. . . . There will NOT be a price jump on the FBMBG. It will be offered at the stated regular price of $397.

The same goes for the TGBG. 2 Years ago we listed the regular price at $297. You're citing the insane special offer price of 2 years ago when we drunkenly knocked $40.00 off of the regular price. . .

So, if and when, the TGBG returns, the regular price will have only increased $30.00 in 2 or 3 years....

So, if we're going to do something just "because" . . . let's pop a top and let's Drink!

That's quite reasonable. Inflation and all. Glad that the TG will be a regularly offered design. It's one of the best ever produced within that general size and style, imho.

You might want to read Jerry's post again...."If and When" means maybe or maybe not return to the regular inventory on the Knives for sale page at Busse Combat....This 35th Anniversary may be the last of the TG's in any form for awhile???

You are correct, sir.

I have been rightfully accused of being overly hopeful at times.

Already owning a TGLB I don't feel like getting an A2 Version.

I wonder if the Boss could tell us how the performance might differ to the INFI.

I'd suppose A2 is less tough, less corrosion resistant but has better edge retention when not abused?

We are celebrating 35 years of knifemaking this year!

In honor of this we are putting out a very limited run of a Special Edition Team Gemini in A2 tool steel.

A2 is the old school steel that we built our early reputation on and used nearly exclusively for all of our big blades.

Our proprietary heat treat protocol, which includes deep cryogenics and triple tempering, brings this steel to life and gives you a knife that will never let you down! . . . We guarantee it. . . . We always have!. . .

Here are a couple of pics of the TGA2 . . . Specs will go up tomorrow. . .

Enjoy your weekend!

Let's Drink!
