Ted's too early to start wish thread to see a fixed blade for BF's 2018 Traditional Forum's knife.

i really like the idea of a fixed. This would give me a chance to carry a fixed with some of my folders.

I think we’d probably stress some of our resident makers with an order of 500 knives.

I was thinking more of a makers inspired knife. Not having them make the actual run. An ode to the maker of sorts

I have a few fixed blades but I don't often use them so I voted folder, also really like the last 2 annuals alot

just to give us something different versus ending up with a pattern that GEC is running at the same time as the forum knife.

I haven't been here as long as many, but I have read and enjoyed a lot of the posts of The Porch's past.

There have been some beautiful, unique knives made via collaboration of some wise, generous, and dedicated folks over the past several years. While I've been active here, there's been a GEC pattern premier #35, and the infamous TC Barlow made available to us. Looking at other member's complete collections show an array of various folders that would make most enthusiasts jealous.

I'd hate to see this tradition of great folders end for any reason. I'd be very welcome to an annual BF Fixed blade knife, but not as a replacement for a folder.
