I'm reading this as if you win, you are inviting us all over for some mesquite smoked pork ribs!I’m in and will send live action photos of it chopping South Texas brush if I win. Might chop some pig ribs too.
One of my favorite meals! We certainly have enough pigs here to feed everyone. You may have to lend an arm to chopping the wood.I'm reading this as if you win, you are inviting us all over for some mesquite smoked pork ribs!

Mesquite works well for both uses. Mesquite is wonderful for smoking BBQ, both beef and pork.I've often read ya don't smoke bbq with mesquite but grilling with it is Awesome
Fyi: Bradford (callery) pear is an excellent smoking wood as well, in case you know someone with one in their yard who is tired of it shedding branches every time there's a decent storm.Mesquite works well for both uses. Mesquite is wonderful for smoking BBQ, both beef and pork.
Mesquite smoked BBQ is my favorite, followed by pecan, with oak in third. Those are our locally available woods for making BBQ in South and Central Texas.
