Thanks Chopper/Pop's Procut Giver

Haha....not from Me, lol.
I'm a Super beer snob. And greedy! 🤪
Even in my brewing circles, I don't share much with many people.....
I might make a knife for somebody before giving beers... Ironically, it takes about the same amount of time making beers, or knives.

Lots of similarities, I could go on forever
I totally get it!

You do all grain mashes? Or extract. I assume all grain.

Took chem 300 in college…….Art and science of brewing beer hahaha

Great beer are like great knives, they take a lot of time!

I'm in!

Thank you for the opportunity!

Already looks Awesome!

I'd love to see pics of the Katana you are making for your daughter!

It's not traditional, My version.
Idk what material I'm doing for the handle yet?
Funny, I just got more steel today to trace a second one. Just because
I need to start grinding on it soon....

Something there needs OD green canvas....😜

That makes it even more Special! Very Very Cool! Looks Bad A.. already if I may say so. I'm quite sure your daughter will Love and Appreciate it!

Thanks....it's difficult for Her. She's kinda tiny, and I have her test my handles out....this isn't a huge blade, but I fear that it's going to be Too big for Her.

Probably going to sit in a corner, or get pawned at college....haha. :/

If you want a suggestion: GripX is...grippy! I love G-10, but that gripp that GripX provides is something else!

Is it TOO much grip though? For whacking?
Have you ever used it on a Big Chopper?

My personal "No Sizzle" Chopper is micarta.
It feels good in the hand. I can hold it with relaxed grip. It pivots, shifts, slides when it needs to. It stays put. Very Secure. No issues with dropping.

If something is too grippy, I wonder about blisters and hand fatigue?

Edit, I think it looks cool on hunting knives, I maybe even might try it on a dagger....

I only received today my first knife with GripX handle, from Daado Daado , so haven't properly tested it yet. It's a small chopper. My last knives are made with polished G-10, so GripX is much more grippy. From memory, I think it's grippier than the paper micarta used in my late Busse HOGFSH. Maybe someone with more experience can participate.

Oops, didn't realize I forgot to reply....
I was a pro brewer for about 5 years in the mid-nineties with a pretty cool little "cult brewery". Later I stayed in the field for maybe 12 years working education and such.

I don't know if there are any differences between the beer industry and the knife industry? Pretty interchangeable. How everything works........scary

I got some advice from people Here who know more than me....
They were very interested in my handle for the kid. They described in detail how mine could be pretty Great and how it has features I didn't even know I did?....haha.

So, in an abstract way, sorta traditional.....
