Thanksgiving Giveaway: "George L. Herter Knife" (R. Murphy Knives) - Winner Selected

I'm in, generous giveaway Elliott! That knife was made in Ayer, MA? I used to spend a lot of time in that neck of MA--I commuted in from quite a distance. My son went to a school for dyslexic children just a mile from Walden Pond (yes, that Walden Pond) and I taught my youngest daughter to swim and ice skate there when she was 3-4. Lots of time on the Concord and Assabet Rivers with her, too.

I'll gladly throw my hat into the ring for a chance at this one! Thanks for the opportunity, and good luck to all!

It doesn't seem like 2 minutes since last year, not to me anyway. It's good to have you back Elliott, and this is typically generous of you :)

I've been very interested in that pattern as of late as a hunting knife so I'll try for it. Thanks!

How generous, Elliott-- again.

I'm in, thank you.

In addition to being interested in a well-executed example of a pattern that intrigues me, I would enjoy the pun possibilities of a "Herter Knife." :)

I'd love to get in on this. I'd gift this to my mom if I win. She lost a similar knife many moons ago and I think should would love a replacement. Thanks for the chance.

Great give-away, and very cool knife!
Not an entry, please, since this pattern is on my "try to make one" list. But, best of luck to all the entrants!

I'm in ! and thanks for a chance!
I remember looking thru those Herter catalogues as a kid , couldn't afford to buy anything but it was fun looking.

Great give away Elliott! Thanks for the chance. I've wanted to test fly this particular pattern for many moons. ;)
Happy Thanksgiving to all especially the less fortunate.

Dave
