Looks great Chip, how much time do you have in this one, well spent seeing the results.

My take to repair my Anthem vertical play.... After fixing the centering. I thought after awhile, the vertical sloppiness will go when it breaks in. But it seems not! So i took it with me to my shop and fix it while working, hah
So i start to disassemble the knife....

Let measure the knife bore

And now the pivot barrel
![]()
As you can see, the barrel is 0.003" undersized to the bore which introduced blade play. The spring is not strong enough to push the blade against the barrel so the play is always there unless i manually push with my hand the axis lock against the tang to secure the blade....
So since we have 0.003" undersized, ill take a thickness gauge of 0.001" and roll it over the barrel to add 0.002" with a 0.001" play left. Or else the blade will not turn if it’s press fit.

Yay, perfected Anthem, no vertical play, no side to side play and perfectly centered with PB washers and somewhat drop shut with wrist!
Alot of love went in that Anthem haha
Right on. Great fix.![]()
