Thank you. He is really excited to be alive. And has an even more positive outlook than he normally has.

After his back surgery, he put his hands in the air (they had the bed in sitting position after 7 days prone on the wedges) and said “I’m alive!” with a big smile and then started crying.

He was so happy that we could all give him a hug.

I can’t remember if I posted an update on my brother, so here is another.

He was released from the hospital late Monday night and is now home for rehab. His spirits are high and he knows it will take time. So far he is on the mend.

Thank you again to all your thoughts and prayers in this whirlwind of a Sept/Oct.
