Leather The “What’s going on in the S&F shop” thread!

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! Yesterday was awesome! I was ripping on the the leather bench and my wife made me some stir fry! (I’ve been asking for a while now. Haha)
We had it with some Ale 8 or A Late One…if you’re from Kentucky…you know. ;)

And don’t feel badly if you forgot to wish me “Happy Birthday”…there’s another one coming next year! 🤣😂

Hey happy birthday 👍👍 I’m a tad late, sorry. To be honest my friend I totally forgot about your neck of the woods here on BF. I always catch you in the leather thread or by PM.
Just read about your brother, happy to hear of the positive progress. My thoughts and prayers sent !!

Thanks Bill! Super happy you stopped by.

Thank you for your prayers. He’s been doing well at home, so we just continue to pray for a full uncomplicated recovery. :)

I have a couple peeves when it comes to sheaths. I dislike when any metal (snaps, grommets, rivet, buckles) are exposed on the inside of the sheath.

I also dislike when crossdraw belt loops are loose. That drives me nuts.
So if there is anyone who has bought a crossdraw sheath from me knows that I ask for belt width and thickness so that the sheath sits nice and snug. It takes more thought and design, but is well worth it in the end, IMO.

Here are a few I finished up in the last couple weeks. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.

I sure hope you will have some for the CPK EDC when the preorders come out. Those look great!

I really like these!

*Just a quick announcement*

As 2024 winds to a close and with the Christmas holidays approaching quickly, I will not be taking anymore custom orders to be finished in 2024.

I have two custom fixed blade sheath orders left to be finished in 2024 so I will be focusing on those and a couple slip sheaths as well.

I want to thank everyone who comments in the Sharp & Fiery subforum, watches the Sharp & Fiery subforum and everyone who has received my work. Thank you all for your support and encouragement as you have given me a successful and enjoyable year. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Happy Saturday!

Got a few sheaths all finished up! I can only post one at the moment.

As some of you know, my Thistle model protos were made about a year ago and I have still been prototyping sheaths for it. So I ran with an idea while working on some orders and I wanted to try out a new inlay material.

This is wet formed veg tan with water snake skin inlay. Meant for pocket carry.

Thanks for checking it out! Hopefully a few other sheaths to post later today. :)

I have been given the OK to post the other sheaths here in my sub! Woohoo. (Plus, I don’t want ya’ll to think I’m sitting around doin’ nada. Haha.)

I cannot say enough good things about the gentleman who these sheaths were made for. Just a seriously classy gent. I cannot wait for these to be in his possession.

For your viewing pleasure…
This first sheath is for a CPK DEK1, it is wet formed veg tan lock-in pocket sheath. It has an antiqued finish, a new application I had wanted to try out for a while now. This is completed with a DCC clip for secure pocket carry.
