The $100 Traditional Knife Challenge

After the '06 fire, discovered my ALOX Pioneer had been saved so purchased a SAK Champion to go with it. Had a Western W36 with me too so at that point I owned 3 knives. Found a few others later that were at my house out in West Texas but those 3 were the minimum I thought necessary at the time.

This is easy as I'm not a collector. I always have my Buck 301 and my Buck 110 with me. The only thing I would need to buy is a Mora Companion MG in carbon. $25 with shipping.

Buck 121, gently used, $30-$60, large non-stainless stockman, used, American only, gently used, and the balance for a whetstone and Alaska Amber Ale.

With a budget of $100.00;
1.) EDC - Buck 303
2.) Hunting - Buck 118
I could get by with those two and never own another knife (but I would hate to do that).
OH

Vic Alox Cadet - About $25
Case 63032 Medium Stockman - about $35
Case Slimline Trapper - $40-ish.

That'd do it.

I think it's pretty darn cool to look back two years and be able to still pick the very same! Cool to see this one again.

Wow, I didn't notice the age of this thread when I changed the title. I'll leave it alone because it looks like fun but...Traditional subforum = Traditional knives only please.

2 50 dollar bottles of rum then off to the insurance company office to argue about the difference between meteors and meteorite. Taking with me the 4 trad blades I carry about my person for just such an occurrence.;)
