The 2010 Forum Knife Continues!

C. with the ebony or blackwood handle. A. with the same handle material.

Best regards and thanks for all the hard work

For the GEC patterns

C then A

Then the winner of this thread can be pitted against the top choices from Queen and Canal St.

We have not given up on Queen. We need to narrow things down to two, then one knife for each Cutlery, then I can get a price for each. Then I can negotiate without bouncing back and forth. Thanks for the help everyone. We'll keep collecting ABCs for another couple of days to give everyone a chance to vote. Let's end Monday night on this one.

This is nothing if not Democracy in action!

I'll go C, A, B and if the slim whittler doesn't win, I'm going to have to hunt one up anyway.

A then C then B. I would like jigged bone rather than wood for trapper or jack, and smooth bone for the whittler.

Hi Guys -

I am a little confused (probably just me) but there are two pictures - the first pattern (top with stag handle) - if that is A then A and if the wood scaled knife below it is B, then B and I would not go for the C (pictured in the second picture?).

best regards -

The post was about as clear as mud, so it was not you....:p

Knife A is the second picture. It is a wood handled equal end Harness Jack. One blade is a hole boring type of tool, not really a blade, but useful....However, the plan for the equal end is for 2 blades, moose style clip blade on one side, spear on the other, that is a nice combo.....
Knife B is a non locking Remington style trapper it is the top knife pictured, it has 2 blades..sort of like a hunter pattern, with a trapper spin on it.
Knife C is the last thin one at the bottom, with the wharncliff blade, which I find very interesting, whittler which has 3 blades, because it is new, but I am cautious, like to hold one of that pattern in my hand before I pull the trigger.
