The 2016 knives have landed!

Glennbad are we the only 2 with the complete set including the '05 Uncle Henry's Lost Souls Schrade that came out after the doors closed at Schrade? :)

I'm not sure, we very well may be! The 2 Schrade knives are pretty scarce!

I really like this close up picture !!! This years BF knife has so much going for it, and this picture shows it off.

Aw shucks, thanks!
It is a great knife for sure. I've pocketed mine just about daily since I received it. It may not go to work with me on the harsher days, but at some point it finds its way into my pocket.

So I do have a one off! If I didn't want to carry it maybe the value would increase, but how would I prove it came that way? ;)
Thanks, Neal

I'm among those who sent their knife back to GEC. I just got some great news! Got an automated email from USPS indicating that a package heading my way just shipped from Titusville.

Thought those of you who returned your knife might like to know.

I was hoping you would see that, Bill. Not sure how many of us returned their knife but you're the only one that I know of besides myself. I wanted to PM or email you but those options don't exist.

I'm really looking forward to getting mine back and I'm sure you feel the same. Hope yours arrives soon.

Some more pics, found this shepard staff/stick along with a sheath for an old Finnish fixed blade 26 years ago when we first moved up here to NEPA lying in my yard which was a pasture 30 years ago.

You could tell someone cut this and was using it to herd animals when it was still a farm. I kept it and wrapped it with para cord and used it as a walkin' stick since I found it, the reason I kept it was because of the worm groves in it.

I figured it was appropriate for this years Traditional forum's annual knife. :)

Great shot with the walking stick; matching tools for the discriminating person.

Wow, it's crazy looking back at these. My first one was the Barlow with the "donated" stag. It's still one of my favorites and my only Barlow. Eight years sure has gone by in a flash. Sweet picture...thanks for the memories.

Just an update on mine, it came just about perfect. No issues with the action whatsoever. The etch looked like it was put on during an earthquake, there must have been at least 9 p's! But as I expected the patina has almost completely enveloped them all. I've carried and used it a lot and it's still as good as day 1. That punch has been very handy, for pilot holes, a few slivers, and even to punch holes in leather, (wife's watch). I still don't get the point of the worm grooves and I usually prefer half stops but this thing feels great in hand and rides great in pocket. As much as I love my CSC BF knife, it is a bit of an awkward carry. This one is a better edc for me. These days it's either it or the Heartland clip in my pocket. Love this knife! Thnx!
