The 2016 knives have landed!

Mine does not
Neal
Oh, Idahoguy-Queen made stockmen with punches on the #49 frame,#h49, have one in pocket. 1 or 2nd fav punch, works very well on leather. I have seen on the net a 2blade model with spear and punch on the same end, but it was a #49 as well, and had white covers. Really wanted that one. They are around here and there.

Alright, here's my official pic for this thread, not a single complaint, if I had to have one, it needed to be stopped before it would shave, no big deal. Thanks again everyone, another home run for the Traditional forum's annual knife. :)

Those are awesome pictures, Ted. Best ones I've seen so far and there have been some great ones.

Am I really the only one without the triple p's? Just wondering.
Thanks, Neal

Received my knife this past week. It was definitely worth the wait!

No quality issues to report. Thanks again to Charlie, Liam, Barry, and GEC for bringing another BF classic to life.

Great Pictures, Ted!! Colorful and patriotic!!

That's quite a dark one, Shaggy!! Is it the light, or is it really dark??
Nice knife either way!!!

Absolutely gorgeous photos - Well done!

Thanks, Charlie! The bone is on the darker side, but maybe not that dark (pic was taken w/o flash in overcast natural light). Here's another pic (no flash) which may be closer to the real color:

All in all, just a great knife. Flawless workmanship and a classic design!

You've already got some nice patina going on yours, SadSappySucker! Looks good!

I can't decide which punch I like better.....would one expect any functional difference?

Here's what Charlie said in post number 121 in this thread:

"The knife will break in with some patient attention. If you can't or don't want to do that, you can send it back to GEC, and Bill said he will round the punch. You will then have an altered knife of course, and the punch may not be as aggressive in cutting a hole. But the punch will open more easily".

I don't think I ever shared the pics of my forum knives in this thread...

I feel so fortunate that we have great people like Charlie, Liam, and Barry that have stepped up (more than once) to take on this often thankless effort. I think it's great that a knife is produced that everyone has an opportunity to purchase, that also brings the community together.

So, a huge thanks to you guys!

I can't wait for the next one so I can partake in the experience. Those are excellent pictures, Glenn. I love the framing.
