The forum knife in usually produced in parallel with something on GEC's schedule, whether it's a new pattern release or a variation of a current pattern. If GEC plans to produce a 71 later this year then your wish is always possible.
 
Honestly I only have a few gec knives maybe 6-7. The secondary is just to expensive . So if I can get one on a drop sometimes it works out .

I do wonder if the GEC lamb/sheep pics at the back of the hall that have been pushed back a couple times by the looks of things have something to do with it?

Those sheep/lambs do look a little dirty. Maybe a Hobo-Lamb! Hobo Knife with a lambsfoot blade! I'd sign up for that.
 
Maybe it makes as much sense for them to wait forever to tell us what we're getting as it does for us to speculate forever about what we're getting.

If they want to get closer than last time to $100, I predict a single blade. Probably a straight edge.

Is it likely that it has already been decide and produced? That Spark and all are getting everything about the eligibility, payment, distribution and packaging lined out so when it's dropped/announced their ready and it's not such a hassle for us and them.

I'm in for anything but a canoe would be extra special!

Alright, I would be totally down for a lamb lifter. Been really wanting to find a good cap lifter lately when I realized how much I missed my old one that I shouldn’t have sold, and lamb blade on it would be just cool.
