The 25, 21, Regular and Umnumzaan comparison photos ***VIDEO & Pics Inside***

bbq boy, i've learned a lot about the 25 from you, ever since your first thread about its release, thank you!

 :D

I start to take all the useful descriptions and pictures for granted and forget all the time and effort random people put into helping all of us out.
Thanks. :D

I'm conflicted. Is the Seb becoming less and less beautiful? But more and more utilitarian?

Thank you very much. I was happy and excited to do it.

I agree with you and that's why I did a quick comparison.

Also, the detent is pretty strong and the finger choil cutout on the presentation side is not as large as the 21. So, with the strong detent and less room to get purchase on the thumb stud makes it slightly more difficult to deploy the blade using my big thumbs.
I am freaking loving this knife though and it's my favorite CRK to date.

Some random thoughts:

I think the belly is the least of all, not like the regular as mentioned in another thread. I like the blade shape. I also notice the gimping still seems to be in sets of 3.

Perhaps the Zaan will go to this type of lanyard keeper and get rid of the extra lanyard hole?

I was thinking the same thing with the lanyard attachment.

Thanks for the comparison pics BBQ Boy. I will definitely pick one of these up as soon as they come out with a Left hand version. They still have no plans for the lefty but presumably it will show up... eventually.

I too am hoping for full "Annual style" inlays in the future. I was on the list for my first Annual and it was disappointing when they were discontinued.

Is the standoff one piece with screws on each side, or does is slide over the female screw like on the 21?

I was not too excited about the 25 but wow!! The robust construction looks like a win.

Now I'm conflicted...a new 25 or a lg Sebbie in S30V? I can't afford both...yet.

EDIT: Do they all come with dual thumb studs standard or ?

Heather said this week that they're all coming with double standard for now. I got the impression that was subject to change though.
